Vendors
The International Festival of Life(IFOL) and Caribbean Festival/Jamaica Independence Celebration(CAF/JIC) have grown tremendously in attendance, in performance, and in value with over 250 vendors selling fine arts, arts & crafts, delicious foods, and fashions from around the world. Both the IFOL and CAF/JIC are one-of-a-kind, multicultural festivals dedicated to bringing an international experience to attendees, in an effort to spread culture to our supporters from communities in Chicago to inhabitants all over the world.
The International Festival of Life (IFOL) was created by Ephraim Martin in 1993. In September 2003, Martin created the “Chicago West” Caribbean Festival(CAF). In 2004, he decided to add the Caribbean American Festival to his roster of events. Since then, CAF/JIC has traveled throughout various neighborhoods in Chicago and Waukegan; while the IFOL continues to call Chicago’s Washington Park home. Both events are produced through Martin’s International Culture 501(3) c organization.
The International Festival of Life (IFOL) and the Caribbean Festival/Jamaican Independence Celebration(CAF/JIC) festivals have been enriched with performers from various genres of music, poets, comedians, dancers, and spoken word artists each adding to the major attraction of the festival every year. The community continues their support and has helped the festivals explode into two remarkable summer events.
The International Festival of Life (IFOL) and the Caribbean Festival/Jamaican Independence Celebration(CAF/JIC) festivals offers vendors the perfect marketplace opportunity to showcase their businesses: food, arts, crafts, small businesses, or corporations.
